decontamination). UIBE will have access to a new range of products, currently

market segments. Asbestos Abatement Project Completed Using Ice Blast
Lake
Oswego Insulation ("LOI") an environmental remediation contractor in
Portland, Oregon specializing in asbestos abatement and mold remediation,
recently completed another difficult asbestos abatement project in a high rise
building in downtown Portland. The work for this project consisted of
simultaneously removing approximately 20,000 square feet of asbestos
fireproofing from each of two floors in the high-rise building. LOI
has used the ice blast process on previous projects and decided to employ it
again on this project. John Mayer, President of LOI, said, "We again chose
this technology due to the low volume of water generated, as well as its
cleaning ability in the typically difficult to reach areas of most abatement
projects. In December of 2000, we used Universal Ice Blast equipment for one
floor of asbestos fireproofing removal in the same building. This time we had
two floors and a very aggressive time schedule. Using
the ice blast process is a big advantage in performing critical cleaning of
areas that present real challenges for access in detail cleaning of structural
steel and deck surfaces." LOI,
an early adopter of the ice blast technology, continues to view use of the
technology in the asbestos abatement industry as a competitive advantage. The
reason for this is twofold. The
technology provides increased efficiency in removing asbestos and also increased
protection for everyone impacted by the project, whether owner, tenants, or LOI
employees. Mayer
continued, "The high production rate of the Universal Ice Blast technology
in performing the critical function of initial cleaning is a real morale booster
for employees who were faced with nearly an acre of area that is typically
cleaned by hand. This, coupled with the technology's ability to provide
effective ice blast processing while creating a minimum of waste water, kept the
material containing asbestos wetted adequately for safe removal and kept
employee exposure at levels well below OSHA's Permissible
Exposure Limit throughout the project. This is a huge advantage. We were able to
perform the work very efficiently and did so without risking either containment
breaches for the owner or unnecessary exposure for our employees." About
