Universal Ice Blast, Inc (UIBI), a Nevada corporation head quartered in Kirkland, WA., is the worlds leading manufacturer of Ice Blast equipment. UIBI with its patented technology has developed a unique "Displace, Scrub & Flush" system (see our technology below for description). UIBI has positioned their technology into three markets: Precision cleaning (automated production cleaning / de-burring); Industrial cleaning (fixed systems parts cleaning, petrol chemical and pulp / paper); and Environmental cleaning (lead paint and asbestos abatement off steel bridges and building structures). Since 1996 the company has actively engaged in developing its technology for these markets

Our Technology

Ice Blasting is a simple process that uses compressed air and ice crystals. Ice Blasting is a non-abrasive cleaning process, using tap water, compressed air and electricity to create an environmentally-friendly and cost effective method that addresses a variety of cleaning needs world-wide.

At the heart of the Technology is the "Displace, Scrub and Flush" system of cleaning that takes place when the ice crystals impact onto a substrate. Ice crystals deform to scrub on impact, and after impact melt into water to wash away debris. Thus, each ice particle is a self-destructing scrubbing brush that flushes away contaminants, uses significantly less water than water blasting. Ice Blasting creates no dust and utilizes no abrasives, chemicals or detergents in the process.

Where We Are Headed

UIBI is fully engaged in marketing its products into the Precision, Industrial and Environmental markets. Break-throughs into the Precision cleaning market is expected to occur this year, in Japan and Europe, following the success of the Ford gear cleaning machine at Sharonville Ohio. In addition the company will continue customer-driven research and development, continuous vigilance to improve worker safety and environmental awareness. As new environmental standards are being established, traditional forms of cleaning will be abandoned and replaced by safer, healthier technologies. We are that "safer, healthier" technology and we are excited to offer a system that will continue to meet customer needs without jeopardizing the environment or worker safety.
