Universal Ice Blast Inc. Announces 40:1 reverse split of its issued stock effective January 31, 2005.

KIRKLAND, WA--(MARKET WIRE)—Jan 31, 2005 -- Universal Ice Blast Inc. (OTC BB:UIBIE.OB - News)   The Company has announced that effective January 31, 2005 it has reverse split issued stock by 40:1, for shareholders of record as of January 31, 2005.  No money will be paid for fractional shares; any fractional shares will be rounded to the nearest whole number.

Universal Ice Blast Inc.’s board made this decision after careful consideration of the recent 24 months trading of its stock.  Mr. Clarke, Chairman and CEO, offered the following circumstances that affected this decision, “The market has placed a valuation of the Company that does not reflect the internal valuation of the Company by its management.  We believe that the capital markets should provide three important elements to shareholders and stakeholders; (i) liquidity for existing and future shareholders; (ii) reasonable and fair valuation of the enterprise and (iii) access to cash investment by the Company for its enterprise. Despite the continued improvements in the technology and operations in the second half of 2003 and the twelve months of 2004, there was no corresponding improvement in the market price of the stock.”  This has adversely affected all shareholders.

“This step would appear to be counter productive and make the Company more vulnerable to short sellers and manipulation by Market Makers,” says Clarke, “however, we believe we are able to attract investors at prices greater than the current valuation because of the better positioning of the technology in its worldwide markets.”   Recent press releases show that the Company has executed its license strategy in its major markets, and that this strategy will provide continuing progress toward profitability.

Since 1995, Universal Ice Blast, Inc. has successfully developed and tested its patented Ice Blast Technology as a superior alternative for use in: Precision Cleaning (automated production cleaning/de-burring); Industrial Cleaning (fixed systems parts cleaning, petro-chemical and pulp and paper); and Environmental Cleaning (lead paint and asbestos abatement off steel bridges and building structures). The Company conducts field research with major clients and has strategic partnerships through which it licenses its technology. Headquartered in Seattle, WA, the Company operates in U.S. markets and (via European partners) throughout Europe.

In April, UIBI demonstrated its ice blast paint removal process for the recreational marine market for the Macomb County Health Department of Michigan. The project was funded by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality as a viable process for the removal of anti-fouling paint from fiberglass boats. The demonstration confirmed the environmental benefits as well as the overall productivity of the ice blast process. Macomb County has one of the highest numbers of registered boats per capita in North America.

Rory Clarke, chairman and CEO of UIBI, noted, "We have previously tested our ice blast process for this application but this demonstration makes the results official. As a result of the successful demonstration, we have initiated discussions with some local parties about a potential business venture."

This week, UIBI will be participating in the Rotterdam Industrial Maintenance Show, following its recent successful completion of a high-profile asbestos abatement project at DOW Holland. This will give UIBI tremendous exposure to the petrochemical maintenance sector in Europe.

4-14-03: UNIVERSAL ICE BLAST RECEIVES 4th PATENT FOR ITS PRESSURE ICE BLAST SYSTEM

Company Completes Dow Europe Job in Record Time

KIRKLAND, WA.   April 14, 2003-- Universal Ice Blast, Inc. (OTCBB: UIBI), announced today that it received a fourth patent from the United States Patent Office covering its proprietary ice blast technology. The Company also has several patents pending in the U.S. and Europe..

"This new patent is another important step as it further strengthens our technology against competitors,” notes Sam Visaisouk, President and COO of UIBI. “It helps us enter new markets, such as the Fast Food and Food Processing sectors, which lend themselves to machine rental. Our revenue from this market could eventually reach $5 to $8 million a year, if we achieve a 10 percent market share,” concludes Visaisouk.

Rory Clarke, Chairman and CEO of UIBI notes, "Our rental business continues to grow. Ice Blast achieved extraordinary results on the Dow Europe job. We completed the asbestos/ceramic fiber abatement well within budget and schedule, laying the groundwork for future business for UIBI. Both the general contractor and the facility owner are extremely satisfied with the performance of our ice blast process."

The Company continues to grow its rental fleet having just added two machines targeted for the Environmental market. In March, a Hawaiian contractor rented equipment for a lead-based paint abatement project and an Oregon contractor will use Ice Blast for an asbestos abatement job this month.

Universal Ice Blast, Inc. has a patented process known as the Ice Blast Technology. UIBI has positioned the technology into three billion-dollar markets:  Precision Cleaning (automated production cleaning/de-burring):  Industrial Cleaning (fixed systems parts cleaning, petro-chemical and pulp and paper): and Environmental Cleaning (lead paint and asbestos abatement off steel bridges and building structures).  Since 1995, the company has actively engaged in developing its technology for these markets.  Substantial testing and field-research with major clients within large markets has now brought the company to full commercialization of its products in these markets.

“Although rental revenues from these projects are relatively modest at the present time, the return on investment exceeds 100 percent.  The Company will continue to add to its rental fleet and pursue this multimillion dollar market,” says Rory Clarke, Chairman and CEO.

4-03-03: FORD, METALDYNE, AND UNIVERSAL ICE BLAST ENTER INTO WORKING ARRANGEMENT

KIRKLAND, WA.   April 3, 2003-- Universal Ice Blast, Inc. (OTCBB: UIBI), announced today that it has entered into a tri-party working arrangement with Ford’s Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development Group (AMTD) and Metaldyne to perform tests on transmission parts from Ford’s Van Dyke plant.

Rory Clarke, Chairman and CEO of UIBI notes, “Ford and Metaldyne will use Ice Blast technology to both clean and remove burrs and flashing resulting from the manufacturing processes. This agreement represents another entry point into the Precision Cleaning market, a market that could reach $670 million over the next 10 years. The arrangement should result in sales of equipment this year and additional revenues as we gain experience in this application specific market.”

Metaldyne, a $7 billion conglomerate and Tier 1 supplier, has agreed to provide infrastructure and operational support, AMTD will provide robotic and ice blasting equipment, and UIBI will provide technical personnel and expertise to assess and perform the tests.

“I am especially pleased that it is being recognized that our ice blast technology directly addresses the problems of delaminating caused by high pressure water blasting and at the same time delivering a reduction in contamination. With its low pressure yet effective cleaning mechanism we can deliver remedies and cost reductions to manufacturers, “ says Clarke.

In addition to two specific projects, UIBI will evaluate other opportunities in the deburring/de-flashing/cleaning of products manufactured by Metaldyne which provides 75 percent of the valve bodies to upstream manufacturers.

3-14-03: DETAILED SHAREHOLDER LETTER

We have come across a delay in editing, please check back later this week. If you would like to receive an email notice when this letter becomes available online please email kellyf@iceblast.net. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, we hope to get this letter to you as soon as possible.

3-12-03: UNIVERSAL ICE BLAST REPORTS PROGRESS TO SHAREHOLDERS

KIRKLAND, WA.   March 12, 2003-- Universal Ice Blast, Inc. (OTCBB: UIBI), today sent the following letter to its shareholders:

Dear Shareholder:

I want to report the exciting progress and developments at Universal Ice Blast. During the first two months of 2003, we have received a record $3 million requests for quotes. While these quotes only represent potential revenue, they are the strongest non-financial indicator that Ford and other major companies are seriously considering our technology.

The automotive market continues to be our best opportunity for short and long term revenue growth. We have re-qualified our gear machine at Ford Motor Company, producing outstanding results, far better than anyone at Ford expected. Since then the Company has seen an increase in opportunities and firming up of orders such as our recently announced purchase order for an automated rust inhibitor spray station. We expect more to come.

A very recent visit to UIBI's corporate offices by Ford's Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development Group involved testing the Ice Blast cleaning system on two transmission components. The results could lead to a joint development program to further enhance the ice blast technology for deburring valve bodies and other transmission components. Ford is also considering specifying ice blast as the cleaning process for one component.

I can also report exciting developments with new product and improvements to our technology. We have increased our blasting capacity by 100 percent through the development of dual nozzles from one icemaker. These improvements will be available on our next generation gear cleaning and deburring machines.

We expect to soon deliver our new SXB40, a booth with integrated ice blast ability targeted for the nuclear, industrial and automotive markets. Improvements in nozzle design will be seen on all new products. These enhancements should reduce operating costs by reduced air or power consumption, possibly both.

Since we founded this company in 1995, I have never been more committed and excited about the opportunities that are being presented to Ice Blast on almost a daily basis.  I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years. I look forward to rewarding you for your patience with more exciting news as we progress to profitability.

Sincerely, Rory Clarke, Chairman and CEO

3-05-03: Dow Chemical Europe to Use Universal Ice Blast Technology for Asbestos Abatement

KIRKLAND, WA.   March 5, 2003-- Universal Ice Blast, Inc. (OTCBB: UIBI), announced today that Dow Chemical Europe has identified UIBI's ice blast technology for a major asbestos abatement project.  Dow Chemical Europe has signed an agreement with Universal Ice Blast, Inc. and its Dutch Distributor, Heydaal B.V., to lease ice blast equipment to the abatement contractor working on the project.

The Company disclosed that it shipped four ice blast machines to Heydaal B.V. in February 2003. This equipment is part of a rental fleet that the Company is building to serve the European Industrial and Environmental cleaning markets.  Universal Ice Blast believes that because of its proprietary technology and first to market position, it is possible to achieve a 10% market share for its specialized cleaning segment.

Rory Clarke, Chairman and CEO of UIBI notes “The $120 million revenue potential is significant since it is generally a recurring income stream that allows the Company to control its technology and retain ownership of its ice blast machines.  Universal hopes to embark on a campaign to target customers in the Petroleum, Chemical, Marine and Manufacturing companies."

"The basis of our marketing strategy is to rent equipment to contractor companies on a long and short term basis.  UIBI will provide equipment through Heydaal, who will in turn market and service the full line of ice blast products.  Our anticipated rental market potential is expected to be 400 to 500 machines,” says Clarke.  “This is part of our world-wide revenue potential estimated to be $2.1 billion over the next 7 to 10 years.”

Universal Ice Blast, Inc. has a patented process known as the Ice Blast Technology.  UIBI has positioned the technology into three separate billion-dollar markets:  Precision Cleaning (automated production cleaning/de-burring):  Industrial Cleaning (fixed systems parts cleaning, petro-chemical and pulp and paper): and Environmental Cleaning (lead paint and asbestos abatement off steel bridges and building structures).  Since 1995 the company has actively engaged in developing its technology for these markets. Dear Valued Shareholder:

Universal Ice Blast has numerous exciting recent events to report.

Our second quarter of ’02 was our best quarter ever. Revenue exceeded the entire prior year. While the company has yet to achieve profitability, the high expense ratio reflects our transition from a research and development company to a marketing company and many one-time only expenses relate to this.

Our ice blast equipment is the first and only equipment of its kind.

Funded by Ford Motor Company’s Factory of the Future, our equipment has been delivered and is now operating at Ford’s Sharonville, Ohio plant, a first in automotive history. We are especially pleased because, since the initial installation, Ford has requested proposals (RFQ) for two additional machines which, if ordered, will represent over $1 million in sales.

Equally exciting is the fact that your company has received 6 Sigma approval and accreditation. 6 Sigma is a rigorous application of proven quality management tools developed under Jack Welch at General Electric and is widely accepted, including in Japan and Europe.

We are also moving forward in the $600 billion nuclear industry. In the current quarter we will ship an ice blast machine to Ontario Power Generation in Canada. Our equipment is also installed and operational at Bruce Power (a subsidiary of British Energy) in Ontario, Canada.

On the patent front, we have filed for four additional patents in addition to the three patents already issued. We expect to receive a European patent by year end and have recently filed a patent to cover new applications in the automotive industry.

As part of our transition, we have assembled a team of experienced professionals to handle public relations and product promotion Howlett Research Corporation will issue a research report on UIBI shortly which will be available at www.iceblast.net

In order to keep you informed on your company’s progress, we want to send you copies of our press releases. Please fill out the attached form if you wish to receive this information.

In summary, your company is moving ahead aggressively and I will keep you informed on a regular basis.

Cordially,

Rory Clarke

Chairman & CEO

Williams & Webster, P.S. appointed auditors for Universal Ice Blast, Inc.

KIRKLAND, Wash., April 8th 2002 PR/Newswire

Universal Ice Blast, Inc. (UIBI) has appointed Williams & Webster, P.S. of Spokane WA as auditors effective immediately.   On April 2, 2002 Moss Adams informed Universal Ice Blast, Inc that they would not stand for re-appointment as principal accountants of the Company.  The reasons were related to UIBI being too small for Moss Adams risk/reward profile.

The company has filed a notice with the SEC that it will be late in filing its Form 10, the annual financial statement.  The financial statements have been prepared by the company and are ready for audit. There are no issues outstanding between Moss Adams and the Company and Moss Adams will fully co-operate with the incoming auditors, Williams & Webster, P.S.

In the first quarter of 2002 the company has made progress on several fronts. Universal Ice Blast is pleased to announce the following:

Ford Motor Company.

UIBI delivered the first ice blast gear cleaning system into the automotive market in January. This machine became fully operational in March after several factory-induced delays. The gear cleaning system is required to undergo 3 months of testing as part of the Six Sigma Implementation Ready process. Due to the installation delays, testing began the middle of March. Since implementation, the machine has performed as expected, running 2 shifts per day. “The cleanliness achieved using ice blast is a significant improvement over water blast. We are extremely pleased with the performance of the system, as are the machine operators at the plant”, says Rory Clarke, company chairman. “Once we are in receipt of the Implementation Ready status, we anticipate orders for additional gear cleaning machines.”

UIBI has received several inquiries from other auto manufacturers and Tier One suppliers because of the impact the technology is making in the market place.

Canadian Nuclear Orders.

UIBI received two orders for its CX91 product from the Ontario Provincial Government and a large multinational company, Bruce Power. Delivery will be in the second quarter of 2002.

Japanese Market.

UIBI will ship a CX 91 machine to a sales and marketing group in Japan. They will provide testing for Toyota and other automotive clients. UIBI has received several inquiries from Japan regarding products for deburring and cleaning gear components.

European Market.

UIBI has agreed to purchase its current Dutch distributor. This business deal, expected to close in the second quarter of 2002, will provide UIBI with an immediate sales and marketing team in Europe.  “Our objective is to set up a self-financed subsidiary that will be responsible for raising the necessary funds to go forward in Europe,” states Clarke. “We are very excited about this venture. We have worked closely for years with our Dutch distributor and feel their contribution and knowledge of Ice Blast will provide an immediate edge in Marketing our products in Europe.”

NEW APPOINTMENTS AT UNIVERSAL ICE BLAST, INC

Mr. Tony Tonello Vice President, Marketing and Engineering Sales

Mr. E. Tony Tonello has joined the management team as Vice President Marketing and Engineering Sales. He will be responsible for expanding UIBI’s market presence in the Precision Cleaning market. Mr. Tonello has 33 years of manufacturing engineering experience with Ford.  Prior to his recent retirement, Mr. Tonello was charged with the Worldwide responsibility for gear gauging quality and spent several years in management at the Automatic Transmission New Products (Prototype) center in Livonia MI.

Mr. Tonello holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

“Mr. Tonello will be a significant contributor to our corporation with his experience in machine design and systems integration for high volume manufacturing.  He complements UIBI’s focus on total system integration of cleaning, de-chipping and deburring equipment,” says Clarke. “The automotive machine tool market is a major component in our corporate strategy. The contamination problems occurring in transmission and engine manufacture exist throughout the industry, worldwide. Interestingly we have seen opportunities in other manufacturing segments that have cleaning and deburring concerns.”

“While the Ford gear cleaning system was developed specifically to deal with cleaning (washing), the technology has proved to be very effective in deburring and de-chipping, in addition to its cleaning capabilities.  The action of the ice particles with its unique displace-scrub-flush mechanism, provides a huge range of opportunities within this substantial market”, says Dr. Visaisouk, President and COO. “My recent trip to Japan clearly indicates the acceptance of our line of transmission cleaning/deburring products. We have a high expectation to convert these enquiries into sales for 2002.  Additionally, we are responding to interest from Europe for automated ice blast systems for non-automotive clients.”

Mr. David Saporta Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

The company is also pleased to announce the appointment of David Saporta as VP and CFO effective immediately.  Mr. Saporta brings to the company 25 years as a senior financial executive with international experience in financial modeling, mergers and acquisitions in addition to his role as an accountant.  Most recently Mr. Saporta was Director of Transaction Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Saporta is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Board of Directors of the Washington Society of CPAs.

“The direction of the company requires the experience that Mr. Saporta brings to the company to ensure that UIBI can execute its strategic initiatives. The UIBI strategic business plan includes revenue estimates of $2 billion from total worldwide revenue potential for its ice blast technology.  In order for the technology to achieve sales of this magnitude, the company will license its technology to companies that have these among other attributes: significant branding, distribution and sales and customer support,” says Clarke.  “This next phase of our company is going to establish the value that we saw for our technology many years ago, and with David Saporta we are adding to the core competency of our existing staff.”

Corporate Officer Appointment.

Mr. Mark Maier, who joined the company as Chief Engineer in October 2001, has been appointed a Vice President of the corporation.

FORD APPROVES MILESTONE EVENT WITH INTRODUCTION OF FIRST ICE BLAST GEAR CLEANING SYSTEM INTO CINCINNATI PLANT

KIRKLAND, Wash., January 10, 2002 /PRNewswire. Universal Ice Blast Inc (UIBI) is pleased to announce that Ford has installed the company’s new Ice Blast Gear Cleaning System at the Ford Sharonville plant in Ohio. The new Gear Cleaning station will undergo tests to replace the existing water-blast system. “This is a significant shift into a new (sunrise) technology by a major industrial corporation,” says company Chairman and CEO Rory Clarke. “This endeavor is a FIRST for the automotive industry. Never have any of the three big automakers introduced crystalline ice blast equipment for insertion into their production lines.”

The ice blast technology provides Ford with a new way to clean, de-chip and deburr transmission and engine components. “Our blasting process will provide a cleaner, safer product than the more traditional forms of water blasting,” says Clarke.

“We feel that the unique properties of ice blasting, with its scrub and flush action, make ice blast superior to water-blasting,” states company president and COO, Sam Visaisouk PhD. “Water blast requires a chemical or soap additive in order to clean oil and other lubricants, ice blast needs no such additives.” Universal Ice Blast is proud to present a cost effective, reliable, worker safe system not only to Ford but also to the entire automotive industry. “We firmly believe that our ice blast technology and suite of products will meet or exceed most existing cleaning requirements for our targeted markets,” states Clarke.

The new Gear Cleaning System will be added to UIBI’s growing family of cleaning, de-chipping and deburring products directed towards transmissions and engines. “With the announcement of our Gear Cleaning system to the automotive industry we have had several inquiries from leading manufacturer’s in the United States, Europe and Japan,” adds Visaisouk. “We have just scratched the surface, the potential for our ice blast technology is very exciting. Our innovative technology is being recognized in several commercial markets worldwide.”

08-28-01: UNIVERSAL ICE BLAST, INC. RECEIVES PURCHASE ORDER FROM FORD

KIRKLAND, Wash., August 28, 2001 /PRNewswire  Universal Ice Blast, Inc., (UIBI) has received its first purchase order from the Ford Motor Company. The purchase order is for an automated ice blast system for production cleaning, which is to be installed at Ford’s Sharonville, Ohio transmission gear facility. The order is for the design, manufacture, and installation of an ice blast cleaning station with commitments for additional similar systems. The commitments will be automatically triggered upon Ford’s acceptance of the first system.

Currently, UIBI has an installed ice blast cleaning station at the Ford Automatic Transmission New Product Center. This cleaning station after continued use has demonstrated reliability in product quality (cleaning precision) and that the ice blasting equipment is easy to operate and maintain. After Ford representatives toured the Company's facilities, the Company received a Request for Quotation, which resulted in this order.

“We are extremely pleased with the recent events with Ford,” states Company President Dr. Sam Visaisouk. “We have developed a technology that is clean, cost effective and environmentally friendly, it means a great deal for us to be recognized and accepted by an industry leader like Ford.”  The Company sees this Ford purchase order as the first of many. “We believe that with Ford’s stamp of approval, GM, Toyota and many others in the automotive industry will not be too far behind,” adds Company Chairman Rory Clarke.

UIBI’s unique ice blast technology is an effective solution for many precision cleaning applications.  Precision cleaning is cleaning to a defined tolerance, typically in a repetitive production setting where quality is closely measured and monitored.  It involves removing surface contaminants from cast or machined parts, electronic or fuel handling components, or highly purified materials. It can also involve light "deburring" (removal of burrs created by cutting tools on machined metal parts). Ice blast technology is currently being used to clean and deburr electric motor armatures, transmission components and gears, engine and other cast parts for Japanese and American auto manufacturers.

Installation and acceptance of the first precision cleaning system is considered by Management as a beachhead for acceptance of ice blast technology within the automotive industry as the future standard for production cleaning, de-chipping of machined parts, and light de-burring. Management estimates the potential worldwide market for precision cleaning ice blast systems within the automotive industry to be approximately 7,500 units over the next ten years.
